I verbally agreed to a new dividing fence but what has gone up is not what I agreed to. What are my rights?
I verbally agreed to pay half the cost of putting up a new dividing fence. However I was very specific that I wanted the new fence to be the same height and style as the one we were replacing. My neighbours agreed to this but the fence has just been put up and it is taller than the original fence and has created a retaining problem aswell. Nothing has been signed or put in writing by either of us and I would like to know what my rights are and how I can have the fence changed?
